Loki Serval
Loki was surrendered by a private owner in 2026. His previous owner felt that she no longer had the time to devote to him. While private ownership of large exotic cats is prohibited by The Big Cat Public Safety Act, it is still legal in many states for people to own smaller exotic felines like African Servals. The EFRC has seen an uptick in need to rescue these smaller exotics since the passing of The Big Cat Public Safety Act.
