Kayo was rescued in 2020 in the fall and is one of the first fishing cats the EFRC has gotten to care for. Kayo was taken during a USDA seizure at Wildlife in Need and was rehomed at the EFRC thanks to the Indianapolis Zoo. Learning about these amazing cats has taught us so much. Fishing cats have partially webbed front toes, extended claws, and elongated faces to make it easier to fish for prey.
