Dash Eurasian Lynx
Dash, named for the Kardashians, was rescued in fall of 2020 from southern Indiana. A facility called Wildlife in Need was shut down by the USDA and some small cats were placed at the EFRC with direction from the Indianapolis Zoo. Dash is an Eurasian Lynx. These types of lynx are slightly different than the Canada Lynx found in the US. They are a bit taller and not quite as fluffy, but still have tufted ears and big feet. Dash is a big boy who is always first at meal time, but overall enjoys greeting visitors as they wait for their tours to begin.
