Tuschar was rescued in fall of 2020 from southern Indiana. A facility called Wildlife in Need was shut down by the USDA and some small cats were placed at the EFRC with direction from the Indianapolis Zoo. Tuschar is a Eurasian Lynx. These types of lynx are slightly different than the Canada Lynx found in the US. They are a bit taller and not quite as fluffy, but still have tufted ears and big feet. Tuschar is kind of a hard egg to crack, but he is very playful once he gets to know you.
