Krixis came from a private owner in Texas along with Kadira and Gaia, whom he shares his enclosure with. Their conditions were not the best, but they have adjusted to their new life at the EFRC since their rescue on Valentine’s Day of 2019. Krixis and his sister, Kadira, had inverted eyelids when they were rescued. After their arrival, they both had surgery to right that and help their vision thanks to our vet team and specialists from Indianapolis. Krixis’ eyes left him in a lot of pain his entire life, so that has not made him the nicest of cats, but he is still adjusting. Although he will chuff at guests, Krixis still gets very aggressive around feeding time. His favorite past time seems to be swimming. He will wait at the gate until his pool is done filling. As soon as the gate is lifted, he jumps into the tank and lays down.
