Wiley coyote
Wiley came from Safe Haven Wildlife Sanctuary. We think that his name was likely inspired by the cartoon character “Wile E. Coyote”. Luckily he is retiring in Indiana, far away from any pesky roadrunners. Safe Haven was located in Nevada and their mission aligned with that of the EFRC - to take in and rescue animals that need homes. However, Safe Haven was unable to find someone reputable to take over their facility when the founders wanted to step down. The EFRC is one of several facilities to take in cats from Safe Haven. Transport for this rescue was facilitated by our friends at In-Sync Exotics.
