Red Fox
Castaway was rescued from a fur and urine farm in Ashtabula, Ohio. More information on this rescue can be found here. She arrived with a cast on her leg that had to be removed upon arrival. There was no information about how long it had been on her leg so we were prepared for the worst. Luckily, there were no skin issues related to the cast being on for a prolonged period of time. Castaway seems happy living with four other red foxes: Py, Delta, Blue, and Echo.
