Dexter Serval
Dexter was surrendered to us by a private owner who no longer had time for him. This is a scenario the rescue world is seeing more and more. With the rise of social media coinciding with the Big Cat Public Safety Act, these small wild cats are increasingly popular as pets. Unfortunately for the animals, they require a lot of specialized care that most owners are unable to provide for the entirety of the animal’s lifespan. This is part of why we take education so seriously as a rescue facility.
