Xaviera Eurasian Lynx
A facility called Wildlife in Need was shut down in 2020 by the USDA and some small cats were placed at the EFRC with direction from the Indianapolis Zoo. Xaviera is an Eurasian Lynx. These types of lynx are slightly different than the Canada Lynx found in the US. They are a bit taller and not quite as fluffy, but still have tufted ears and big feet. Xaviera is a favorite of many tour guides and volunteers. Her silly personality makes her easy to love. She will entertain you with her adorableness as you wait for your tour to begin.
