Anna Tiger
Anna was rescued in 2003 from a private owner in Minnesota, who was housing her illegally within city limits. School teachers were first alerted to her when a young boy, who was falling asleep in class and had unusual scratches and bites, told them that it was due to the young tiger who shared his bedroom with him. After authorities investigated, they found his claims to be true. When Anna was confiscated she was malnourished, slightly anemic, and in need of some TLC. Anna was young enough that she could be introduced to two other young tigers already at the center, Herman and Joey. Anna is a goofy girl who has quite the loud and distinct voice!
