Sophie Tiger

Sophie came from a white tiger breeder in Flat Rock, Indiana in 2005. It is actually the same place that Max is from and she is actually Max’s aunt. Ultimately, the breeder, Dennis Hill, lost his license and we took in a number of his cats. You can see more of Dennis’ story in the Animal Planet documentary, The Tiger Next Door. Sophie loves to run around with her neighbors next door, Tiger Lily and Tiger Jilly. She is either playing with them or enjoying her time by lounging in the sun. Sophie is a very laid back cat, but she has her impatient moments. During feeding, if she has to wait too long you will see her trying to paw her water bucket or playing in her water tank.
