Welcome to the Exotic Feline Rescue Center (EFRC) in Center Point, IN. Since our founding in the early 1990’s, the EFRC has served as a rescue center and forever home to many exotic felines that have been abused, unwanted, or neglected. The Exotic Feline Rescue Center has grown from its humble beginnings with only three exotic felines to today caring for over 100 cats and foxes, representing over ten different species, and from 15 acres to over 200 total acreage. As a 501c-3 nonprofit rescue center, we do not breed, sell, or buy any of our animals and next to caring for these amazing animals, our biggest job is educating the public about the plight of these creatures.

New fire hose supply thanks to partnership with Brotherhood Designs, active firefighters who are trying to make a difference!
They estimate that that there is approximately 450,000 pounds of potential waste created by retired fire hose each year in Indiana. They’re not only trying to reduce waste, but give fire hoses a new life after they have served protecting people and property. This new life comes through the beautiful patriotic art they make and also through the donations Brotherhood Designs has made to animal rescues.
We love using fire hose as a durable, comfortable material to make hammocks for our animals out of. Thanks to the generosity of Brotherhood Designs, we now have an amazing supply to build all of our residents beds, towers, and toys!
They’re hoping to spread the program across the US, but for now they have collection bins for fire houses to drop their hose at.
We think it is so amazing what Brotherhood designs is doing, not just in their daily life as life-saving fire fighters, but also the work they do trying to make a difference in the lives of animals.
